Dawson is a contemporary Christian singer/songwriter who has been writing and performing songs since the late 1990s. He was a worship leader at multiple churches in Oregon for many years as well as sharing at camps, retreats, and coffee shops (Coffee Shop Songs, Green (Live At Insomnia) [feat. Nick Garrett-Powell & Tanner Johnson]). His songs range from love and wedding songs like Cord of Three Strands or Stop the Sun to revived hymns such as Turn Your Eyes and songs of encouragement and faith like Jehovah Jireh. He and his family moved across the country to Sarasota, Florida in 2021 where they are active in their new home church of Grace Community Church. Dawson has taken some time off from pursuing performances, but has been working on some new music and released the first of several new songs with Peace in 2024. As always, he seeks to share songs that we can all relate to from the trials of daily struggles to the hope and joy found in his journey of faith. It's all about Jesus.
